Machu Picchu is one of the most popular attractions in Peru. If you plan to visit Machu Picchu then you need to obtain the following tickets:-

Train Ticket

(Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes)

Tickets are also available at the Ollantaytambo station, however, it is best to book online in advance to ensure you get the train you want.

Tickets are purchased from the bus departure point at Aguas Calientes or in advance from Cusco.

Machu Picchu Entry Ticket

There are new restrictions since 2017 regarding ticket purchases with only half-day tickets available for either the morning or afternoon with no re-admittance allowed. Tickets can be purchased online at www.machupicchu.gob.pe. You must choose your entry time when you book. To avoid disappointment it is now recommended that visitors purchase their Machu Picchu entrance tickets well before arriving at Machu Picchu, especially during high season or if you wish to climb Huayna Picchu/Machu Picchu mountain.
